Description

Quality Fine Art Print – Soft White Etching Decor

Te Mahara – The Memory This wāhine exemplifies the working Māori women of Aotearoa (New Zealand). She is the backbone of Māori women who are so integrated in every area of New Zealand’s working professions. She holds her head high and meets the tasks required of her. She takes pride in her work and role. She is bold, beautiful, and direct. Wherever I go in New Zealand, this wāhine in the working environment greets me in varied, yet corresponding form. She greets me with an audacious, yet genuine smile, and I hear her laughing. She is passionate, personable and neighborly. She lifts my spirit every time I see her.

This print comes with a postcard-sized explanation card.

20% of all profits from my prints sold go to Trust Teina, a charitable trust run by Debbie and Pio Terei. Their vision and mission is “The Ultimate Koha” – Giving to save Māori and Pasifika lives through increasing the blood, bone marrow and organ donor registers in Aotearoa New Zealand.
